24 Hours Live-in Care
Our Live-in care services can be particularly beneficial for people who have a physical disability or an injury such as a spinal cord injury for which they need care support and those who are recovering from an illness.
Similarly, we often provide live-in care when a customer needs temporary support through a period of convalescence or recuperation when returning from the hospital.
What your Live-in Carer will do
A live-in carer’s responsibilities will range depending on the level of care that’s required. However, standard tasks include:
- Household cleaning
- Help getting dressed
- Assistance with hygiene & grooming
- Meal preparation
- Dispensing medication
- Care advise and guidance
- Support with mobility
- Running errands
Reablement
Our reablement services are arranged as part of support to aid recovery after discharge from hospital. We provide expert personal care and equipment to make life easier at home and assist in helping patients get back on their feet
We aim to enable you or your loved ones to regain confidence and practical skills to carry out everyday activities individually over time.
Homecare
Our friendly, committed and trusted carers are specially trained to assist clients in remaining as independent as possible, in the homes they know and love, with one-to-one personalised care.
We provide flexible homecare services, anything from a 30 minute check call, to 24 hour live in care. We can offer short term help (following an illness or because your usual carer is having a break), or longer term homecare.
Your carer will provide you with support, companionship and the reassurance that someone is always there when you need them.
Respite Care
Our Respite care offerings provide planned short-term breaks for families and other unpaid caregivers throughout the UK. Get in touch for respite home care and we will create a bespoke respite care package to suit your needs.
Our Respite Care includes:

Personal Assistant Care
A personal assistant can help you or your loved ones with a wide range of tasks – whatever they believe would best support them. This support includes:
- Personal care
- Making meals.
- Taking medication.
- Tidying up.
- Helping with work or education.
- Using transport and getting about
- Going out, such as shopping or taking part in social activities.
Complex Care
Our nursing team provides complex care needs to service users with significant continuing healthcare issues such as chronic illnesses and disabilities that can arise after receiving hospital treatment
These could include enteral/PEG feeding, stoma care, gastrostomy feeding, nasopharyngeal suctioning, oral suctioning, bowel management, oxygen therapy and tracheostomy care. As well as facilitating service users to lead independent, active, and fulfilled lives where possible.
End Of Life Care
This is largely organized by our healthcare teams. Real Homecare works with the primary care team to monitor and implement palliative care needs to enhance the quality of life and dignity to service users. Hence our ethics adhere to the wishes and preferences which are paramount to service user. Real Homecare also works collaboratively with service user's family and relevant person(s).
Our staff adheres to Advanced Care Planning in place, following our standard policies and procedures in line with our core values to meet the needs of service users.
